My office makeover is going about as fast as watching paint dry. But, at least the painting is all done now, although I’m still doing my best to get rid of the paint fumes by opening the window, using a fan to exchange air, and lighting candles to help burn off the yucky smell.

As you can see, there are still a few boxes under my desk to sort out. But, I did manage to empty several file drawers and set aside a bunch of stationery, books, and cool stuff to give away or take to the consignment store. I am finding this whole process quite stressful, and the only thing that keeps me going is my vision of a bright and airy office space with Room Enough to Think Big as well as Get Things Done.

Alas, the stress of it all, together with the paint fumes, finally nailed me. I’ve now come down with a nasty sore throat and stuffy nose. But, I’m not giving up, just going into a lower gear for a while.
